I read this post this morning, and then this evening I read this little essay by Alan Jacobs that made me think about your writing and especially your voicemails, all of which deliver the pleasure of seeing (or hearing) a mind in motion. https://blog.ayjay.org/the-wayfaring-mind/
Just stopping in to say congrats, and also? I have lots of stuff in my life that has attempted the second person singular. (Bombastic side eye here to a whole bunch of LinkedIn nonsense.) Meg, you're making it happen organically and it resonates so much with me. I was a debate team kid, and I learned along the way that the only rhetorical relationships that matter are second person singular and first person plural. You and us, you and us. I feel that connection and I'm so happy to see your work getting the recognition it richly deserves.
WOW, WOW, WOW! How cool is this?! THIS gives me great joy today!!! Xoxox
So happy for you, Meg! Of course you deserve it.
Amazing!!! And well deserved!
Brava!
